Nezuko is adorable. Obviously she has a muzzle, but it seems like she cant talk and has sort of regressed. She seemed very mature in the flashbacks when she was human. But she seems more childlike as a demon. I wonder why that is..

Demons can obviously talk, they just met one. Nezuko also does not have a very demonic appearance, maybe the more your eat humans the more you turn.

This episode was a good sign that she wont give in when there is blood around.

Yes, you might've watched S2 by now, but she's regressed as part of her mind's defense mechanism against the trauma Muzan caused her( she witnessed everything he did to her mother and siblings, not just experienced her own forced transformation); it also influences her physical shifts in size and strength. Once she has to face the memories of the attack, she unlocks some other features of her demon form, but for now she's in a partial state of fugue, if my Psychology terminology serves right.

The whole smell thing is an interesting trait. I wanted to make a comment about how this is poorly portrayed here. Especially since he's largely untrained. But searching up how fast scent travels, how long it can linger etc. It's been quite the interesting read honestly. Besides the good recommendation i'm curious how they'll evolve this trait for him ^^

Im watching series out of order...what im noticing is these demons are quite cerebral rather than mere act out monsters like you'd get in a video game. Yet Nezuko has no dialogue just grunts.

Nezuko is in a sort of fugue state, as a result of the trauma from the attack and transformation, she vaguelly remembers her family, recognises and instinctively loves her still living brother, but most of her personality has been reduced to an almost toddler version of herself, even though as a human she was entering puberty.

I here the voice actor of Jiraiya of Naruto! Seriously did they have to make it to sad. And the mc is not only dumb but also clumsy.
